BIOGRAPHY
Misty McClure is a Los Angeles-based actor, musician, and filmmaker. Originally from Alabama, Misty worked for years as a production assistant and AD on film sets in New Orleans before moving out to LA. She has diligently studied acting with John Coppola for the past 5 years and has also taken classes with casting director Ani Avetyan this past year. Misty has been described as having the sweet, Southern, sassiness of Reese Witherspoon with the stoic toughness of an actress like Game of Throne’s Gwendolyn Christie. Misty was recently cast in a period drama as the coach of a high school girls basketball team. Misty has written, directed, and produced several short films that have premiered at festivals and can often be found playing her guitar at open mic nights around Los Angeles.
